About This Webinar
Artificial intelligence is beginning to find its way into vocational rehabilitation and disability employment services. That raises practical questions for VR professionals: Where might AI be useful? What are its limitations? And what should practitioners consider when it comes to ethics, privacy, and human oversight?
A recent webinar from the PRIME (Promoting Retention in Meaningful Employment) project offers an opportunity to explore those questions through a real-world example.
PRIME is developing Anchor, an AI companion designed to support people with disabilities after they begin employment. The webinar looks at how Anchor is being developed and evaluated, how the system is intended to respond to participant engagement and support needs, and the role rehabilitation professionals continue to play when technology is introduced into employment services.
The discussion also addresses broader issues that extend beyond this particular project—including ethical use of AI, privacy, human oversight, and ongoing evaluation.
